4 Week Beginners Yoga Course 

Tuesday February 23, March 2, March 9 & March 16

19:30 to 20:45 @ SlowLane Yoga, Moonee Ponds

Are you curious about Yoga but not sure where to begin? Perhaps you have taken a class before and felt that it moved too quickly? Maybe you are worried you need to be able to touch your toes before trying a class (in case you’re wondering, most people can’t touch their toes) ?

Whether you are a brand new to Yoga or want to learn more about the foundations of Yoga, our SlowLane Yoga beginners course is for you.  Trying something for the first time can be intimidating, this is why we have created this course, expect a nurturing non judgemental environment for you to explore. 

Class numbers will be capped to keep it intimate and ensure a more personalised approach. 


This course will run over 4 consecutive weeks and the structure includes but not limited to:  

Week 1- Intro to Yoga, how to prepare your body/ warm up and Sun Salutations

Week 2- Standing postures

Week 3- Seated postures

Week 4- Cooling postures, breathwork and meditation


Have fun along the way, moving and caring for your body and mind, with trickles of philosophy and anatomy throughout  🙂 


More about Phoebe – Your Teacher

Phoebe is the co-owner of SlowLane Yoga and has been practicing Yoga for 8 years, teaching for 6. Living and breathing her passion for Yoga, she wants to introduce the practice to as many people as she can. 

Phoebe knows first hand how scary it is to just start, but it is the best thing she has ever done for herself, we have to remember we all started somewhere……..

Expect a nurturing and fun environment, where you will be supported to explore your yoga practice.
